In Power BI web serive i.e. https://app.powerbi.com you can easily connect to a OneDrive file as there is straight forward option available for that.

But in Power BI Desktop there is source option available to conenct to OneDrive. So in this video we will see how to connect to a Excel file in OneDrive from Power BI Desktop application.

We will be using Web Source option, we will be using URL of excel file. Other important thing while connecting is authentication option – we will using Organizatioal Account.
